[started afternoon of May 24, ended night of May 27]

As some of you may notice, I have a mapping feature in my journal that lets me view people who have been into my journal. Some of you may think this is invasion of privacy, but I personally think its motivation that there is actually someone reading my posts. I almost wrote into my sidebar and my post post (the permanent message you see after my posts) that to keep me writing, I must condition people to comment on my posts.

After contemplating........ I felt like an utter idiot.

I did the journal because of my passion for writing, part of it was to be recognized by people ans somewhat an outlet. If those where my purpose then why am I asking you if I write good..... who are you to do so? I only say if I should stop or continue. As of now, it's write write write baby!

I don't want people to puppet my emotions and my thoughts unless its foreplay, sure you can command me to do such but expect a complain when it is ridiculously worthless.

As i said, the mapping feature is like the American's spy satellite. Here is a list of viewers from May 23

1. Bel-Air Four, Rizal, Philippines 3.12PM - looked into http://arelenete2.livejournal.com/tag/job
2. Manila, Manila, Philippines 11.10am -looked into friends page
3. Makati, Rizal, Philippines 10.09am - looked into friends page
4. Livingston, New Jersey, United States 8.47am - looked into http://arelente2.livejournal.com
5. London, Lambeth, United Kingdom 8.09am -?? & uses Internet E
6. Makati, Rizal, Philippines 4.33am -looked into http://arelente2.livejournal.com/35665.html

8. Rans, Tirol, Austria 2.33am - looked into http://arelente2.livejournal.com/tag/zoroxsanji - uses Internet E

I cant believe that Firefox is so popular right now... Huraaa!

Here are some screenshots of that fantabolous program:

This is a viewer from Manila, Philippines. Probably one of those who went into an internet cafe somewhere. You can see LRT Purple Line over there (by southeast, you can see a purplish building there, thats the LRT PL).

It seems that the viewer is close to FEU Manila (whitish set of buildings with trees in them on the viewers east. FEU really is a different world and an eco-friendly place!)

I also saw UST... It's definitely large!

This one is in California, there was another one in Dubai, but the map can't zoom in any longer, plus, I forgot to screenshot it.

There is one place that interests me and my eye of interest went there because I'm just plainly intrigued (and a viewer lives there.)

Bel-Air

For the viewer, he visited my posts entitled "Others" and "4 Shining Shimmering Stars". I don't personally know this viewer nor I know if he commented or anything, but I like to say thanks that I can write about something again.

"Bel-Air was developed in four phases, and consists of 950 lots,thirty-two streets and two well-developed parks in Phases 2 and 3, each with covered badminton/basketball courts. Makati Avenue separates Phase2 from the rest of the subdivision. The village is managed by the Bel-Air Village Association (BAVA), and comprises only a portion of Barangay Bel-Air. [...]

Bel-Air Village was the third division to be developed by the Ayala Development Corporation. It was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1957. Bel-Air's deed restrictions for residential lots have remained in force since 15 January 1957.These restrictions officially expired in 2007, but were renewed by votation and extended for another twenty-five years." - from Wikipeida.

By restrictions, do they mean the exclusiveness of the subdivision to 'certain people'? If so, then what is the gain for it? Boredom? I have experienced, that if the same breed of people are confined in people, things tend to go boring. In the streets, where a billion people with different things not so in common, things tend to get 'interesting'. People with contrasting traits tend to go in love because of intrigue and unfamiliarity in short: DRAMA.

Real life is stranger than fiction. Anything happens.

As I search what the heck is Bel-Air and whatever it is I happen to go through a somewhat brief definition of gated communities.

"

In many parts of the world, buyers are expressing a preference forgated communities. While many see living in a gated community asoffering increased security, they are not impenetrable. Walls arefrequently low enough for someone to climb over them. Gates can bebypassed by tailgating cars and, for those willing, access through thesewer system. Pedestrians can usually enter by means of pedestriangates, which are generally unlocked.[citation needed]

In Brazil, the most widespread form of gated community is called"condomínio fechado" (closed housing estate) and is the object ofdesire of the upper classes. Such a place is a small town with its owninfrastructure (backup power supply, sanitation, and security guards). The purpose of such a community is to protect its residents fromoutside violence. The same philosophy is seen on closed buildings andmost shopping centres (many of them can only be accessed from insidethe parking lot or the garage).

In Argentina, they are called "barrios privados" (enclosedneighborhoods) and they can be described as a symbol of wealth, howeverdubious social prestige (many members of the middle and middle upperclass regard gated community dwellers as nouveaux riches or snobs[1]). While most gated communities have only houses, some bigger ones - such as NorDelta [2] - have their own hospital, school, shopping mall and more.

In post-apartheid South Africagated communities have mushroomed in response to high levels of violentcrime. South African gated communities are broadly classified as"security villages" (large-scale privately developed areas) or"enclosed neighbourhoods". Some of the newest neighborhoods beingdeveloped are almost entirely composed of security villages, with a fewisolated malls and other essential services (such as hospitals). Acommon mode of development of the security villages involves stakingout a large land claim, building a high wall surrounding the entirezone, then gradually adding roads and other infrastructure. In part, property developers have adopted this response to counter squatting, which local residents fear due to associated crime, and which oftenresults in a protracted eviction process. Crime syndicates have beenknown to acquire property in some of these security villages to be usedas a base for their operations within them.

They are popular in southern China, namely the Pearl River Delta Region. These communities are often purchased by overseas Chinese, Hong Kong Chinese, and nouveau-riche local Chinese.

In Saudi Arabia, gated communities have existed since the discovery of oil, mainly toaccommodate Westerners and their families. After threat levels raisedsince late 1990s against Westerners in general and Americans inparticular, gates have become armed, sometimes heavily, and allvehicles have been inspected. Marksmen and SANG armored vehicles appeared in certain times, markedly after recent terrorist attacks in areas nearby, targeting Westerners.

"

Own Hospitals? Malls? Pools and stuff? Thats too exclusive right? Some of you might go to Loyola Heights, Hamptons or to any exclusive subdivision and burn them to the ground. These gated communities are not really just to show off, they have purposes in setting this up, such are explained here in their categorizations:

  • Lifestyle — country clubs, retirement developments.

  • Prestige — gates for status appeal

  • Security Zone Communities — gates for crime and traffic.

Those lifestyle communities must be like the Golden Acres, while those Prestige are like that of Hamptons (yuck), then those Security Zone Communities are like those of..... Bilibid?

Hehe. As you red the article from Wikiepedia, you must be thinking quite hard if Gated Communities are bad or good right?

Let me tell you personally:

HORRIBLY GROTESQUE

First off, this is like the Segregation of Color between the blackies and whities from the old days.
Security? Security my ass! There will be no crimes if there is no exclusivity between 'different' communities. Social tagging leads to social discrimination that then will lead to a CLASS STRUGGLE!

If 'criminals' per se are inside a normal assorted-with-all-kind-of-people community WITH their family, they would be rehabilitated easily. If immersed in a community like that, they will feel a sense of belonging and may go back to the social norms.

For best results to end the rat race and the crab pile-up, switch to communism.

Ah, some site statistics do have maps. I think mine does but I dont care anyway. I got tired of checkin out who's gone in. Haha! I guess my blog's got a lot of visitors but they don't comment or may be read anyway. My posts are just a bit childish or nonsense. Hehe... But the best part is, you get to voice out whatever you want! Nobody cares, it's your place!
